Day 1 (Nov 16): Basic: An introduction on al aspects of anal neoplasia and HRA

Day 2 (Nov 17): Basic and advanced (including live demonstrations)

Day 3 (Nov 18): Advanced (including complicated cases)

Objectives of the course

  • To describe the epidemiology and risk factors of HPV-related anogenital disease
  • To understand the pathogenesis of HPV-related anal neoplasia
  • To recognize the pathological features of anal neoplasia
  • To understand the pros and cons of screening and prevention
  • To describe the principles of high resolution anoscopy
  • To name the practicalities of setting-up and maintaining a HRA service
  • To recognize the clinical features of low and high grade anal neoplasia
  • To illustrate aspects of management of anal neoplasia
  • To understand the potentials of prophylactic and therapeutic HPV vaccination
